About Judy K Lucas

Judy Lucas, M.D., is an assistant professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine.

Dr. Lucas earned her medical degree from the University of South Florida before moving to Cincinnati, Ohio, to complete her pediatric medicine internship and residency at Children’s Hospital Medical Center. She later went on to complete a combined fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine and clinical pharmacology and toxicology at Children’s Hospital and Massachusetts Poison Control System in Boston.

Dr. Lucas previously worked as associate director of pediatric emergency medicine and urgent care at Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix, Ariz., and APLS course director for the Hong Kong Society of Emergency Medicine and Surgery in Hong Kong.
