JC Gonzalez, Jr, D.O.

Dr. JC Gonzalez is excited to continue with the University of Florida as an Assistant Professor in Pediatric Emergency Medicine. Dr. Gonzalez earned his medical degree from the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine, in Dothan, Alabama. He then completed his Pediatrics Residency at the University of South Alabama where he also served as a chief resident. He then completed his training with a fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at the University of Florida.

His academic interests include teaching medical students and residents, improving patient access to care, and community outreach and education.

Outside of the hospital, Dr. Gonzalez enjoys relaxing on the beach with his family, listening to live music, and visiting new places around the country. He looks forward to continuing his role at the University of Florida and looks forward to exploring the areas of Gainesville.
