Case Example

A patient presents with a history of HTN, obesity, smoking, high cholesterol, and FX of CAD with exertional precordial chest pain for three days (clears with rest), with associated nausea, diaphoresis, and SOB. She has never had a heart problem before. Her chest pain is gone now and her VS are stable. Your first EKG is shown here. First troponin has returned slightly elevated.
