International CPC Project
Our mission is to introduce Resident ER Physicians to many unique and interesting cases from here in the USA, and abroad. We ask you to share a unique and interesting case with us, and we will do the same with you.
Please select one Resident to be lead physician, and contact person.
Residents will have 4 weeks to diagnose, and treat the patient.
Week 1: Each program uploads a case with full history and Physical exam of the patient. Each group of residents will then send email to others requesting any Labs or x-rays etc for their case, and start any treatments.
Week 2: Each program exchanges the requested information, analyses it and may then request further studies, treatment or consultation.
Week 3: Each program sends results of requested studies to the other and offers a diagnosis, treatment strategy and recommended disposition (Admit, DC, ICU, surgery etc.)
Week 4: Each program exchanges the solution to the case and provides article or other reference for the others to read.
