Jason Jones is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine and Medical Director of Levy County Emergency Medical Services.
Prior to life as a Florida Gator, Dr. Jones grew up a native of Dallas, Texas. He completed a Bachelor’s degree in public policy at Duke University and a medical doctorate at the University of Texas. In 2010 he arrived at the University of Florida to complete a medical residency in the field of Emergency Medicine. Upon graduation, Dr. Jones joined the inaugural UF fellowship class in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) under the tutelage of Dr. Christine Van Dillen.
Dr. Jones is board certified in Emergency Medicine and Emergency Medical Services. He serves as the Medical Director of Levy County EMS and as Associate Medical Director of Lake County EMS.
