The Department of Emergency Medicine Scribe program was recently featured in the Spring 2015 issue of the Florida Medical Magazine, a publication of the Florida Medical Association.

“While medical scribes have long been fixtures in emergency rooms, the scribe program at UF stands out because it is a homegrown solution that doesn’t rely on an outside contractor. The scribes are all UF undergraduate and recent post-graduate, pre-medicine students. With a large sector of students who are pre-medicine or majoring in science fields, UF is fertile ground for such a program.”
